SOLARTECH COMPLETES 240kW SOLAR CARPORT FOR SPORTSPLEX USA
Sportsplex USA’s Santee location will be enjoying cheaper electricity, shaded parking, and reduced carbon impact thanks to the new solar carport installed by SolarTech. This system will provide 380 megawatt-hours of energy annually, enough to power 40 average homes for a year! The 672 solar panels span the covered parking structure and also provide shade for 90 vehicles in the heat of East County. And by switching to clean energy, this commercial solar PV system will offset the same amount of carbon as 300+ acres of mature forest trees.
