1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:

The “Solar Tech 2025 Share & Win Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on November 1st, 2025 at 12:00 AM PST and Ends on January 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST (the “Sweepstakes Period”) at https://solartechonline.com/shareandwin

 

2. ELIGIBILITY:

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the states of California, Arizona, and Nevada who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the beginning of the Sweepstakes Period. Officers, directors and employees of Solar Tech Energy Systems, Inc. (“SolarTech”) and its parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, and the employees and agents each of the foregoing, and any other entity or persons that develops, produces or distributes materials for or related to this Sweepstakes, and members of the immediate families (defined for these purposes as including spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, and each of their respective spouse) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above, are NOT eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES:

There are two ways to enter the Solar Tech 2025 Share & Win Sweepstakes: (a) during the Sweepstakes Period, an individual (“Participant” or “you”) may provide an online review Better Business Bureau, Google & Yelp of SolarTech, take a screenshot or picture of such review (“Participant Content”), and submit such along with filling out the required fields on the Sweepstakes Entry form available at https://solartechonline.com/shareandwin (b) mail a 3” by 5” card to the address set forth in Section XIII below. The card must contain your full name, address, and email address and must be received by SolarTech by January 31^st at 11:59 PM to be eligible. No purchase necessary. The required fields to qualify for the Sweepstakes using the online Sweepstakes Entry form include your first and last name, zip code of residence, email address, and your Participant Content (in .jpeg, .jpg, or .png format).

If you submit Participant Content, you agree that you grant SolarTech and its affiliates, a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, and publicly display the Participant Content in connection with the operation and promotion of SolarTech’s business. You understand that this license extends to any present or future media. You also warrant and represent that you are the sole owner of all rights, including copyright, to the Participant Content you are submitting, or that you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions from the copyright holder to grant this license, and that the Participant Content does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.

Limit of one (1) entry per Participant during the Sweepstakes Period, either submitted through the Sweepstakes Entry form at https://solartechonline.com/shareandwin through the 3” by 5” card mailed to SolarTech. A single Participant may not enter the Sweepstakes through the online Sweepstakes Entry form more than once, mail in more than one 3” by 5” card, or enter through both the online form and the 3” by 5” card. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registration and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.  

By entering, you acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements, as applicable. SolarTech reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, has violated any provision of these Official Rules, as applicable, and SolarTech’s decisions in this regard are final. Participants waive all rights and remedies at law or in equity for any claim they may have relating to this Sweepstakes as a condition to receive any prize for which entrant may be eligible to win. Incomplete and/or illegible entries are void. All entries become the property of SolarTech and will not be acknowledged or returned. SolarTech is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries or any human or technical error which may occur in processing of entries.

4. WINNER DRAWING, NOTIFICATION AND ODDS:

Within a reasonable time frame after the close of the Sweepstakes Period, one (1) potential prize winner (“Prize Winner”) will be chosen by a random drawing of all eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing will be administered by SolarTech, and SolarTech’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the drawing. The potential Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail within seven (7) days after the drawing. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The potential Prize Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of SolarTech’s first attempted notification of the prize or that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner selected based on the criteria herein. SolarTech will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver Prize to Prize Winner following receipt of Affidavit. The Prize Winner may be featured on the SolarTech’s Web Site and in other marketing materials.

5. PRIZE:

One (1) Prize Winner will be randomly selected to win the following: One (1) complimentary residential solar maintenance service, including a professional panel cleaning and full system health check (Approximate Retail Value $450)  The Prize is limited to the Prize Winner’s residential solar energy system and may not be used for any commercial solar energy system. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize, based on information available to SolarTech, is $450.00 USD.

6. PRIZE CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS:

All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included as part of the Prize package and are solely the Winner’s responsibility. The Prize is not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash, and no transfer or substitution of the Prize or its components is permitted, except as may be provided herein or in SolarTech’s sole discretion. All federal, state and/or local taxes associated with the prize are Prize Winner’s exclusive responsibility. There are no substitutions unless specified by SolarTech. Prize details and availability are subject to change, and in the event that SolarTech is unable to provide the Prize Winner with the Prize won, SolarTech may elect (but not be obligated), at SolarTech’s sole and absolute discretion, to provide Prize Winner with the approximate value of such item in cash or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. The stated ARV of the Prize is based on available information provided to SolarTech at the time these Official Rules were drafted. SolarTech is not responsible for, and Prize Winner will not receive the difference (if any) between the actual value of the Prize and the stated ARV in these Official Rules. The value of any Prize awarded to a Prize Winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All properly claimed Prizes will be awarded. Unclaimed Prizes will be forfeited. SolarTech and its agents are not in any way responsible or liable for damages resulting from shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of any Prize awarded in this Sweepstakes. All decisions by SolarTech as to Prize Winner and Prizes are final.

7. ADDITIONAL PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Prize Winner’s acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for SolarTech to use the Prize Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) for any and all public relations, advertising and/or promotional purposes as determined by SolarTech, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), in perpetuity, without notice, consent, review or approval or further compensation.

8. OPT-IN; USE OF DATA:

By participating, you consent for SolarTech to obtain, use, and transfer your name, email address and other information for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes. You are authorizing SolarTech to send you emails about its products and services. You may opt out of receiving future e-mails from SolarTech by clicking on the link contained in any e-mail. You will remain eligible for this Promotion whether or not you opt out of receiving promotional e-mails from SolarTech. SolarTech will be collecting personal data listed above about entrants in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review SolarTech’s privacy policy at https://solartechonline.com/privacy-policy/. By participating, you hereby agree to SolarTech’s collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted SolarTech’s privacy policy.

9. ENTRY ERRORS/TAMPERING:

SolarTech is not responsible for: (i) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (ii) failed or unavailable hardware, network, software or telephone transmissions, damage to entrants’ or any person’s computer and/or its contents, or causes beyond SolarTech’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes; (iii) any entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these rules; (iv) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, (v) any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of Prize/Prize Winner; or (vi) malfunctions or interference resulting from illicit, malicious or injurious code (including but not limited to viruses, worms and denial of service attacks). If for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to transmission failure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of SolarTech that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, or if the Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, SolarTech reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and reserves the right, but shall not be obligated, to randomly select the Prize Winners from among all non-suspect entries received as of the date/time of such termination/cancellation or modification. SolarTech reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and prosecute any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or who enters using any automatic or programmed entry duplication method.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE CORRUPT THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SOLARTECH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

SolarTech reserves the right to void all entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method and to disqualify any individual using such a method. Any entrant determined to be involved in such prohibited activity will not be eligible to receive a prize in this Sweepstakes. SOLARTECH IN ANY EVENT RESERVES THE RIGHT, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND THIS SWEEPSTAKES IN WHOLE OR IN PART, WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE.

10. RELEASES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: 

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes Prize Winner’s agreement to hold harmless SolarTech, and its parents, affiliates and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the officers, directors, employees and agents of each of them (individually and collectively for the purposes of this paragraph (“Sweepstakes Entities”) from and against any injuries, losses or damages arising in any way from or in connection with their participation in this Sweepstakes, the acceptance, possession or use of the Prize, Sweepstakes Entities’ reliance upon Prize Winner’s compliance with these Official Rules, or Prize Winner’s participation in prize related activities, and further constitutes Prize Winner’s agreement that the Sweepstakes Entities may use Prize Winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media worldwide without limitation or additional compensation.

11. GOVERNING LAW/DISPUTES:

Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that this Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. SolarTech reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation barring entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the appropriate federal, state and local courts located in California for any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded.

12. WINNERS LIST; OFFICIAL RULES: For the name of the Prize Winner (available approximately thirty [30] days after the date of winner determination), send a self-addressed, stamped legal-size envelope to: SolarTech 2025 Share & Win Sweepstakes – Winners List, c/o Solar Tech Energy Systems, Inc., 9410 Bond Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92021, or visit SolarTech’s website at https://solartechonline.com/shareandwin or SolarTech’s official social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) to view the winner announcement. All requests must be received within six (6) months of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
