Protect Your Rights as a Solar Consumer

A critical vote is coming on October 12, 2023, and it could change everything about the way solar owners are compensated for the energy they generate.

New rules that the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is voting on will remove many of the financial advantages for solar panel consumers and give more money to utilities. Farms, schools, and apartment dwellers will likely lose the ability to profit from solar panels on their roofs and will have to buy back any energy they generate at a higher rate.
