Intersolar 2022
Attending Intersolar 2022 was a wonderful experience for our team at SolarTech. Having the opportunity to connect with other innovators within the renewable energy industry who are furthering the advancement of clean energy, was very inspiring. SolarTech proudly represented solar from Southern California.
Several software advancements that will improve the solar experience were great to see. There were many companies exhibiting drone software that allowed drones to take complete scans of roofs, that would in hours, generate a 3D report giving you an analysis of shading on your roof and the size of your roof, among other things. Technology like this will only make going solar even easier than it already is. Going solar is as easy at is has ever been and seeing these advancements only makes us feel better for consumers moving forward.
Several new innovations in solar panel maintenance, cleaning and efficiency further outlined just how much solar is growing and staying ahead of the technological curve. Solar energy is becoming more efficient and lasting longer than it ever has thanks to these new developments.
It was a pleasure to see several companies exhibit large cleaning devices meant to care for commercial solar systems. The world is continuing to adopt solar into every aspect of life and with each development solar becomes more powerful.
The biggest takeaway from Intersolar 2022 was that solar is as strong as ever and that the world at large is quickly shifting toward relying on clean, renewable energy, like solar. Commercial solar and energy storage was a huge talking point at Intersolar this year. Businesses all over are taking steps to adopt solar and energy storage into their businesses as they prepare for the electric future. Solar not only saves businesses tremendous amounts on their utility bills, but it also serves as a marketing point for potential customers.
