Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center Receives $5000 Donation from SolarTech to Support Faces of Hope Capital Campaign

The Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center is thrilled to announce a generous $5,000 donation from SolarTech in support of the Faces of Hope capital campaign. This contribution will be instrumental in the ongoing construction of the Food Bank’s new campus, expected to open in early 2025.

JT Garrison, co-founder and CEO of SolarTech, said, “SolarTech has a longstanding commitment to the communities where we operate. As we expand to Arizona, we continue this tradition by partnering with Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center. With its 35-year history, reputation as a trusted resource for those facing food insecurity, and dedication to efficient resource management, Foothills Food Bank aligns perfectly with our vision. SolarTech is proud to contribute to feeding more households in Arizona, and we eagerly anticipate the continued success of our partnership.”

Executive Director Leigh Zydonik expressed gratitude for the donation, stating, “We are incredibly thankful for SolarTech’s amazing support. This donation is not just a financial boost, but a testament to the strong community backing that is vital for our mission. The new facility will allow us to serve more individuals and families in need, providing comprehensive services that go beyond food assistance. Their contribution gets us another step closer to building for the future and ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.”

The new campus will be a larger, more efficient facility that will enable the Foothills Food Bank to expand its programs and services. With the support of donors like SolarTech, they are moving closer to meeting the goal to build the facility without debt.
